R Kelly trial set to start

After six years of repeated delays, jury selection is set to begin on Friday in R. Kelly's trial on child pornography charges, prompted by a videotape allegedly showing the Grammy-winning R&B singer having sex with a girl as young as 13.
Today defence attorneys filed a motion seeking to postpone the trial, and the judge could rule on that request on Friday.

The reasons for the motion are being kept secret, but it comes as publicity surrounding the case heats up and some media speculate about who might testify.

Alleged victim is now 23

When the trial gets under way, prosecutors will have a unique challenge: The alleged victim, now 23, says it wasn't her.

And Kelly's attorneys - including Ed Genson, who often represents the rich and famous - haven't admitted it's Kelly in the video.
