Nightclub avoids having to shut its doors
AN attempt to have Mission's licence revoked has failed.


British Transport Police are the force charged with maintaining law and order in premises on railway property, premises like the Leeds superclub.

They complained of a number of allegations involving violence and sexual assault and asked licensing authorities to effectively punish bosses of the Heaton's Court venue.

The original application was made between the BTP and Mission's landlord but the landlord withdrew.

Owner Terry George said: "I am pleased with the outcome. It should not have got this far.

"It's better if things are dealt with between ourselves and the British Transport Police. Hopefully we will be able to work with them."
