A MAN has been arrested and charged with wounding by police investigating last weekend's bloody attack on four men in Leeds city centre.
The 20-year-old who was detained on Friday on suspicion of wounding and later charged was due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court.

But police inquiries into who was responsible for the stabbing of the four men in the Call Lane area at about 4.30am last Monday were continuing.

Det Chief Insp Sukhbir Singh of the West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Crime Unit leading the investigation, repeated his appeal for a woman who became involved in an argument with a man outside the Puro nightclub prior to the stabbings to contact police.

At the time she had curly hair and was wearing a black dress with gold trim and a belt.

He also appealed for four women who had gone to the aid of one of the stabbed men to come forward.

"We are only interested in speaking to them as potential witnesses," he said.

Callers should ring the helpdesk at Holbeck on 0845 6060606.
