Glasshouse: from Mission to Mezz

JUST a week after the bombshell was dropped on Mission and departing mainstay Glasshouse has announced it's new home - Mezz.
The club formerly known as Rehab will, from Saturday November 1, play host to Leeds's perennial night as a resident at the recently refurbished Assembly Street venue. That's every Saturday from 11pm to 9am.
Head Glasshouse promoter Karl Jukes said: "This is a fantastic move for Glasshouse. We've had a great time at Mission but Mezz is where it's at now and we just had to be part of it! We were sad to say goodbye to Mission, but it's onwards and upwards from hereon in."
The move came as a huge shock to bosses at Glasshouse's former home, not least because it's barely been a year since they welcomed the night back into the Mission fold after a temporary shift to Gatecrasher on New Briggate.
Bosses at Heaton's Court received just days notice but still managed to pull off a 5th birthday night celebration last week. But next week all eyes turn towards the Exchange Quarter.
November 1 will not only be Glasshouse's relaunch night at Mezz, they'll also be celebrating their 12th Birthday with Bodyrox featuring Nick Bridges and Soul Avengerz behind the decks.
From thereon in the November playlist includes Jorgensen, Marc Leaf, Dirty South, the Hoxton Whores, Freeform Five and Noir.
