Discotheque branding ditched as part of huge £500,000 refurbishment
Leeds superclub Gatecrasher has rebranded itself less than three years after it moved to the city.

The Discotheque name which heralded their arrival at the New Briggate venue in 2005 will go.

Now the club will be renamed GatecrasherSeven following a £500,000 makeover which will be unveiled on Friday.

The owners have also secured a licence until 10am and intend to capitalise on the longer opening hours with a new line up.

Still intact are firm favourites like Hed Kandi and Speed Queen - who'll remain in their respective slots on the first and third Saturday's of the month. Also remaining is RnB Friday nighter Pashion.

But newcommers include Leeds Loves Electro on the fourth Saturday of the month and Retro Heaven on the second Saturday of the month which will include classic DJ's such as Graeme Park, K-Klass and Allister Whitehead.
