Castell's DJing career has been fast, by anyone's standards.
Although he's been clubbing since his teens he started out as a drummer in a band, Fungal Ashtray.

When the group split four years ago he wanted to continue indulging his love of music but only fully committed himself to DJing when he moved to Leeds just over a year ago.

From playing the occasional night he's grafted and networked his way up to becoming resident with Filth at Mint, Area 51 in Manchester and a regular at Black Out at bar Fibre.

Now he's just had his first track signed to an American electro label and is looking forward to more stints in Ibiza this summer.

"It's all been a bit of a whirlwind." said Castell. "And a lot of it is down to Leeds, it's a real clubbing community here. It's very close knit, everyone knows everyone.

"Which is great because if people here like you, they make you what you are and you really can get a good following."
