At 22, Pompey's burgeoning career may appear meteoric but it's far from an overnight success story.
His trajectory can be traced back a decade when he used money left to him in his grandfather's will to buy his first set of decks.

From his bedroom in the unlikely rural surroundings of Skipton in North Yorkshire he juggled school with perfecting his art.

The big break came two years ago when he excelled in the Kissdafunk DJing competition and simultaneously gained the patronage of 4clubbers.net

Since then he's become the youngest DJ to play Cream at Ibiza and can now claim to have played virtually every night and venue in the city.

He also runs his own club night in Barnsley and has big ambitions to mix production with performing and develop himself into an international name.

He said: "One of the best things about Leeds, if they appreciate you they're loyal and you can guarantee you'll get a little band of followers coming with you everywhere - which is always a bonus to throw in there when you're trying to make a booking!"
