United fans are getting a 'raw deal'

Leeds United supporters chief Ray Fell is demanding fair treatment for the club's fans.
Two of United's games for 2008-09 were brought forward to noon kick-offs within 72 hours of the fixtures being announced, and Fell wants the authorities to show common sense in considering further changes.
Leeds will begin their schedule with a noon start at Scunthorpe on August 9, and their trip to Peterborough on October 4 has also been brought forward by three hours.
Both decisions were taken on the advice of local police, and Yeovil Town, who Leeds are due to visit on Saturday, August 23, have already indicated that they may ask for a rearrangement, despite the absence of any serious crowd problems during United's trip to Huish Park last season.
Yeovil chief executive Martyn Starnes said: "I do think that there must be a slight doubt over the Leeds match being played on the designated date. I am anticipating a call from the police for discussions on this one for sure."
The number of United games altered last season ran into double figures and supporters club chairman Fell said: "I understand the need for rearranging fixtures when there are good reasons for doing so, but what worries me is the fact that our games seem to get moved as a matter of course.
"The first reaction to an away game involving Leeds seems to be to think about moving the date or the kick-off time, and the feeling is that we're getting a raw deal.
"There were very few signs of trouble last season and the fans get a bit fed up when they're being asked to visit places like Yeovil on a Friday night for no good reason.
"I think we have to accept certain games will be affected but I'd ask the police and other clubs to show common sense and a bit of restraint when considering whether a traditional 3pm kick-off time is so difficult to stick to."
